1. What AnteUps is
AnteUps lets you challenge friends to head-to-head fantasy-style stat matchups based on real sporting events, and to score real-world 1v1 games with a neutral scorekeeper. Outcomes are determined by official box scores and in-app scoring. Winning a contest earns bragging rights and may earn in-app cosmetic rewards — never money or anything of monetary value.
2. No gambling, no real-money wagering
You do not deposit, wager, or risk money on contest outcomes, and you cannot win or withdraw money. AnteUps is a game of skill and entertainment, not a gambling, betting, sweepstakes, or real-money fantasy-sports service. Any references to “contests,” “challenges,” or “winning” refer to in-app, non-monetary play.
3. Fetti and cosmetic purchases
Fetti is a virtual, in-app currency used solely to unlock cosmetic items (such as jerseys and figures). Fetti has no real-world monetary value and cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, prizes, or anything of value, whether inside or outside AnteUps. Fetti and cosmetic items are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within AnteUps only and confer no ownership, equity, or cash value. Any Fetti purchases are final and are payments for in-game cosmetic functionality only — not deposits, wagers, or stored monetary value.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information (including a phone number, if you choose to be reachable for invites) and be old enough to use the service in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t cheat, exploit, abuse other users, attempt to manipulate contest outcomes, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Advertising
AnteUps is free to play and is supported in part by advertising. We display third-party ads, including through Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Your use of the site is also subject to those providers’ policies, and you can manage ad personalization as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. No warranty; changes
The service is provided “as is” during this beta. Features may change, pause, or be removed. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
