Overview

AnteUps is a free-to-play game with no real-money wagering and no cash-out. This policy explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect only what’s needed to run the game.

What we collect

  • Account info — email and a username you choose, used to sign you in and identify you to friends.
  • Phone number (optional) — only if you add one, so friends can invite you by number. It’s stored privately and is never shown to other users.
  • Gameplay data — contests, drafts, results, win rate, and cosmetic items you own.
  • Payment data — when you buy Fetti (our virtual, non-cashable in-app currency), payments are processed by our payment provider. We don’t store your full card details.
  • Automatically collected data — like most sites, we and our service providers collect basic technical data (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar usage data) through cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, measure performance, and serve ads.

How we use it

To operate the game: authenticate you, run and settle contests, deliver invites and notifications, process cosmetic purchases, and prevent abuse. We don’t sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run AnteUps (such as our hosting, database, payment, and advertising providers), and where required by law. Your username and win rate may be visible to opponents as part of normal gameplay; your phone number is not. We don’t sell your personal information.

Cookies & advertising

AnteUps uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your session, understand usage, and display advertising. We show ads through Google AdSense.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the Google advertising cookie, also known as the DoubleClick / “ad” cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to AnteUps and other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to AnteUps and/or other sites on the internet.

You can update your username, add or remove your phone number, and change your email or password from your account settings. To delete your account or request your data, contact us at the address below.

Data retention & security

We keep data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

AnteUps is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
